To start, select which pictures you want to display for each month.  Choose photos that correspond to the theme of each month.  Such as a picture of your children trick-or-treating in October or a picture of a day at the beach for June.

Once you have chosen the pictures, it's time to move onto the calendar's month design.  Many design software such as The Print Shop 23 Deluxe have a feature to design and print calendars.  Don't forget to add special details to each month for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and other special day.

Once you've designed your months, it's time to print.  You can use a photo printer such as HP Photosmart D7260 Inkjet Photo Printer or upload your pictures to be printed at a photo center and then pick them up.  Print pictures in 8" x 10".  If printing at home use good quality photo paper such as Kodak Glossy Photo Paper, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 100 Sheets per Pack (8209017)You can choose to print the months on photo paper to give it a shiny appearance or you can card stock.

Once you've printed both the pictures and the months, it's time to assemble the calendar.  First,
lay out the pictures and months in month order.  Remember that for the month of February for
example the picture for March will need to be glued to the reverse side. For instance:

On the back of the January Picture will be the front cover
On the back of the January month will be the February picture
On the back of the February month will be the March picture
and so on...
on the back of the December month will be the back cover

Now, blue the front and back pages together as described above using craft clue. Make sure you
spread the glue evenly as to avoid clumps of glue which will distort your picture and calendar.

Now it's time to bind your calendar. Binding with a plastic ring binder is recommended for ease of flipping each page.

Your final step is to punch a hole at the top of each picture page for hanging. Use a single hole punch for ease of use.
