Make Your Own Front Door Wreath

Making my own wreaths is a favorite activity of mine.  I find that it's actually quite simple and a significant cost saving.  Here are the steps I take to make my seasonal wreaths. 

Materials:

• Grapevine or straw wreaths

• Several artificial flowers

• 2 spools of ribbon of your choosing

• Hot glue

Instructions:

• Separate the flowers into individual pieces or stems using wire or floral clippers.

• Cut off a 12" long piece of ribbon and tie into a bow.

• Wrap the remaining ribbon around the entire wreath.  Hot glue in place.

• Bend and shape each stem and arrange on around the bottom half of the wreath. Hot glue in place.

• Hot glue bow onto the bottom of the wreath.

• Hang on door and enjoy.
